New in IMS-Audit Cloud: Automatic Translation of Audit Answers

The auditor in India answers in English, the colleague in Germany reads it in German — and vice versa: IMS-Audit Cloud now translates answers in the audit question catalog automatically into each user’s display language. For supplier audits abroad, corporate groups with plants in several countries, and mixed audit teams, the language barrier in the audit disappears.

How it works

Your company stores its own DeepL API key once in the settings — one click, nothing more. Without a key, everything works as before.

• Economical with your quota: Each answer is translated only once per language and then stored — no duplicate consumption. If an answer changes, it is re-translated automatically.
• Audit-proof: The original is always preserved. When editing and in all reports, you see the unchanged original text.
• Clearly marked: Translated answers carry a translation symbol (“machine-translated”) — everyone can see what is original and what is translation.

Multilingual from end to end

Automatic translation complements the existing multilingual capabilities of IMS-Audit Cloud: a user interface in seven languages (German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Czech, Polish), multilingual question catalogs with DeepL translation in the master catalog, and PDF reports with a language choice per print run — the same audit report in German for internal use, in English for your supplier.

Also new: actions created automatically from the finding type

In the same update, finding types in the question catalog can now create actions automatically: set the rating and the action is generated following your standard scheme, complete with owner and due date.
