New in IMS-Audit Cloud: document control per ISO 9001
IMS-Audit Cloud now manages your quality-relevant documents: with the new document control module you control your quality manual, procedures and work instructions, forms, and external documents per ISO 9001 clause 7.5 – in the same system as your audits.
Deliberately lean instead of overloaded
No complicated DMS project, but a clear control workflow: Draft → Approved → Archived, rejection only with a comment. A rework is created as a new revision in parallel to the still-valid version – so a document is never “gone because it is being edited”. Only upon approval does the previous revision move immutably into the revision archive.
The most important features
- Complete revision history: every status change is logged with person and timestamp.
- Four-eyes principle if desired: author and approver must be different people.
- Review dates with reminders: the system reminds automatically by email; confirming “Reviewed, no change” is a single click.
- Dedicated permissions: read-only users see the approved versions exclusively.
- Referenced documents in the audit: approved documents linked to the audit via process or standard appear right in the audit master data – with preview and download.
- Print for your auditor: the “document list with approval status” as a PDF is the classic evidence in the certification audit.
As always: the module is included in every plan and available in all program languages. A detailed training guide with screenshots is available in the in-app help. All details: document control feature page.
And we are moving straight on
In the same stride, the management review per ISO 9001 clause 9.3 has been completed as well – with automatic data blocks from audits, actions, complaints, and risks. All details in its own post: New: the management review that prepares itself.
